Sharon Haggerty is a clinical anaplastologist with over 22 years of experience in the medical art and anaplastology fields. She is currently the director of Custom Prosthetic, Ltd. in Seattle, Washington, providing custom facial and somato silicone prosthetic restorations for patients in the Pacific Northwest. Sharon is an Independent Consultant/Anaplastologist in the Department of Restorative Dentistry, Division of Prosthodontics at the University of Washington.
Sharon earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Berkeley, and a Masters Degree, with an emphasis in Maxillofacial Prosthetics in Biomedical Visualization, from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). Clinical training experience included an internship at the Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital. She has been a member of the International Anaplastology Association for 24 years, currently serving as the board's secretary, and for six years was the president of the Board for Certification in Clinical Anaplastology (BCCA). Sharon's research interests include alternative materials in anaplastology and the use of osseointegrated implant systems for retention of craniofacial prosthetics.
In addition, Sharon enjoys gardening, cooking and outdoor activities.
Deane Benninghoven has been working as an artist for more than 30 years. Deane's primary artistic focus has been the human figure and portraiture.
He has a knack for finding creative solutions to difficult problems and possesses a broad range of of skills and and materials knowledge.
He finds that his contributions to Custom Prosthetic are the most noble use of his collected abilities.
